On behalf of the golfers, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who attended or donated an item to make the 2024 IACAC Golf Outing a success, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The weather was absolutely amazing, for the third (fourth?) year in a row we sold the event out in early July and each hole featured a sponsor who had more than 150 golfers pass over the course of the tournament.
Congratulations as well to our winners.
The IACAC Golf Outing, along with our holiday party in December, are the two largest fundraising events for our Scholarship Fund, which is open for submissions through October 25th at noon. The IACAC Scholarship is open to eligible students whose family members work for a company with an active IACAC membership, corporate or individual.

Next week, we're back at Church Street Brewing Company for our annual Oktoberfest event. When the IACAC first started going there, the tasting room shared the same physical space with the brewery and we setup and took down temporary tables. Now, with a full-blown tasting room and menu, it is one of the favorite events on our annual calendar.
Don't sleep as well on the chance to take a tour of Rockford Airport next month, too. Several years ago we arranged a tour when Rockford's ascendancy to the cargo airport it is today was on the rise and attendees were able to ride down the runway in the charter bus.
If there's something you'd like to see, either as a social, networking or educational event, share it with us. We're an association that is driven by the suggestions of our members who know what they want to see and hear. Don't be bashful - weigh in.
