About Us
The International Air Cargo Association of Chicago was organized in 1955 by a group of airline and forwarder staff interested in developing stronger individual relationships among those involved in international air freight.
In 1959, the Association applied for and received non-profit status from the State of Illinois.
The objectives of the Association are:
- To exchange information and provide mutual assistance in the promotion of international air cargo transportation in the Midwestern United States.
- To achieve coordinated action in the matters involving or effecting air cargo transportation in the Midwestern United States.
- To carry out activities such as meeting, round table discussions, lectures, research, and information useful to the membership.
- To co-operate with other interested associations and trade groups.
