A Few Things About Myself:

As the General Manager of Distribution for C.H. Robinson in Chicago, Ray brings over 25 years of logistics expertise and innovation to the transportation industry. A graduate of Western Illinois University and proud resident of Palatine, Illinois, he has built his career from the ground up since joining C.H. Robinson in 1998.
Beginning in the Chicago Global Forwarding Division, Ray’s entrepreneurial spirit and leadership abilities quickly became apparent. He successfully managed the Air Export Division before pioneering several key initiatives for the company. In 2006, he established C.H. Robinson’s Warehouse and Distribution Division and launched the company’s Retail Consolidation program. His vision led to the development of C.H. Robinson’s first Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF), and he played an instrumental role in designing and building the current 250,000-square-foot facility in Des Plaines. This state-of-the-art complex now houses the NAST Retail Consolidation/Crossdock business, Global Forwarding CFS, and Global Forwarding CCSF operations.
When not advancing logistics solutions, Ray is deeply involved in his community as a youth sports coach, sharing his passion for baseball, lacrosse, and softball with the next generation. He’s a devoted father to three children: Jessica (20), Justin (19), and Julianna (15). An outdoor enthusiast, Ray enjoys traveling and hiking, and despite living in Cubs territory, he remains a loyal Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan!
