Eligibility to serve as a member of the Board of Directors: Direct employment by a company whose principal business activity is in the transportation industry. Acceptable employment includes roles within air cargo carriers, freight forwarders, logistics firms, customs brokerage houses, ground handlers or similar organizations whose core function is the movement of goods or cargo.
Employment by firms that are contracted by or provide services to transportation companies—such as IT providers, consultants, legal firms, promotional vendors, marketing agencies, software vendors, consultants, or facility services—shall not be considered direct employment for the purposes of Board eligibility.
